Be Transparent

No social impact assessment can be entirely objective, and none can entirely be free of assumptions about what and how certain outcomes are achieved for some stakeholder groups. Because of this, it is possible that different interpretations of social impact can be understood from collected outcomes data and stakeholder engagement. Its important to recognise this when reporting any social impact assessment, and to ensure that all assumptions are articulated and that decisions about what has been included and what has been excluded are presented openly.
