Social Impact Scotland is a web resource dedicated to supporting you to better understand your social impact, for Third Sector Organisations, Funders and Investors in the Third Sector, and Public Sector organisations.

The site provides information on a range of philosophies, methodologies, tools and approaches to understanding and measuring social impact, as well as information on outcomes approaches to commissioning, designing and improving services and projects within communities. Developed and maintained by Forth Sector Development, the site is a legacy of the Scottish Government SROI Project, and retains comprehensive information on SROI, which can be accessed from this site here.

Case Studies: We are always keen to publish case studies from any agency or organisation which has undertaken impact measurement or has experience of commissioning or designing services to outcomes. If you have a case study that you would like to see on the site, please contact us here.

Public Sector News: The Scottish Government recently completed the PSP Project, delivered by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, in conjunction with Forth Sector Development. The project involved 10 public sector bodies and third sector partners working in partnership to co-plan and pilot the design of services which contribute to the delivery of national and local outcomes, utlising SROI principles within the pilots to establish service outcomes and determine the impact of the pilots. The recently published Guide to PSP, detailing the project and providing guidance for the development of Public Social Partnerships is available for download at the link above.
